Instructors
Head Coach and Club Founder Paul McGuinness is a 5th Dan, Level 3 Coach, Judo Scotland/UKCC Coach Education Tutor, Assessor and National Examiner. Paul has a BSc in Exercise and Health and works as a Physical Education Lecturer at Clydebank College, he has been a member of the National Team for many years and has represented Scotland several times.
With Titan Judo now celebrating its decade this year; the club is producing many players but it is also producing many great additions to the coaching staff.

Nicola Armstrong has an HNC in Early Education & Childcare as well as her coaching certificate from UKCC and is responsible for the under 8 classes. Nicola teaches at all of the Playdrome classes and is currently studying towards her 1st Dan Black Belt.

David McKinnon coaches the Titan terrors (8-14years) on a Saturday morning at the Playdrome. David is the former West of Scotland Champion in his weight division and the current senior club champion. He is also proficient at Muay Thai Boxing and is a 3rd Dan in Karate although we won’t hold it against him. David is qualified through UKCC.

The club has strong links with Clydebank College and have been lucky enough to obtain the services of some of the top Sports Coaching students the college has to offer.
Craig McCallum – Craig is working towards his brown belt at the moment and is an assistant coach at the club. As well as working on our summer programme Craig has an HND in Sports Coaching and has his UKCC qualifications in judo.
Linzi Coleman – Linzi is on the HND Sports Coaching programme, following her work on this years summer programme she has taken up judo and is going through the coach education programme. Linzi works as an assistant coach at the club and is proving a great success with all the kids.
Liam Campbell – Liam is the assistant coach in our student club at Clydebank College. As well as going through the HND programme, Liam is one of the top goalkeepers in the country and represents his country at -21 level. Liam is also involved in our summer programme and will increase his involvement once more classes are available.
